The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when AGT Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvino Palanques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justin Pareja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Arsenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Gigi Dăscălescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jose-Manuel Benítez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 16 minute of play. In the 19th minute Iurie Sima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Pareja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ion Palomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Jose-Manuel Benítez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gigi Dăscălescu. That made the score 2-2 in the 23 minute of play. With a little luck, A4p FC Gad's Gigi Dăscălescu got control of the ball when Jose-Manuel Benítez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remus Chițes's late challenge caught a AGT Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Cerreri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Cerreri was the one to do the kick off. In the 84th minute Ilie Crainic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Pareja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Cerreri came free, but Gigi Dăscălescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The A4p FC Gad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A4p FC Gad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
