Washington Mandrak came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by A4p FC Gad's Remus Chițes. But to his dismay, Remus Chițes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Mota 2017's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Crainic came free, but Washington Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavian Odobescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Washington Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mota 2017 getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Paulo Pires hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Crainic in the 13th minute of play forced Mota 2017's goalkeeper Washington Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Washington Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilie Crainic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Ilie Crainic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Washington Mandrak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iurie Sima took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Washington Mandrak. Washington Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Mota 2017's Washington Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Lăzăroiu in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mota 2017 defense, Ilie Crainic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Washington Mandrak. The Mota 2017 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Washington Mandrak should have stopped the shot. Washington Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Penaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Washington Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Crainic in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Remus Chițes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Crainic in the 37th minute of play forced Mota 2017's goalkeeper Washington Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Washington Mandrak came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by A4p FC Gad's Remus Chițes. But to his dismay, Remus Chițes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Marcel Penaru struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Washington Mandrak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A4p FC Gad. 44 minutes into the match, Mota 2017's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Penaru came free, but Washington Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Washington Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Lăzăroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Pires was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes Mota 2017 got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Pires. Horaţiu Arsenescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, A4p FC Gad's Marcel Penaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Washington Mandrak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilie Crainic in the 58th minute. With an all-out effort, A4p FC Gad's Washington Mandrak threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iurie Sima, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 63rd minute, Remus Chițes made a precise shot to the right of Washington Mandrak. Mota 2017's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Washington Mandrak was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Octav Lăzăroiu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Octav Lăzăroiu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Penaru got free with Washington Mandrak in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Mota 2017's goalkeeper Washington Mandrak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remus Chițes. With a little luck, Mota 2017's Washington Mandrak got control of the ball when Remus Chițes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute, Ilie Crainic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Washington Mandrak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Washington Mandrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilie Crainic went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. Washington Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Chițes in the 98th minute of play. When the match was over A4p FC Gad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mota 2017 throughout the match.
