When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Damaso Rencio sped through ÓKINJÔ FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rogério Vilanova. Isidoro Benino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogério Vilanova read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by ÓKINJÔ FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lino Remigio was slow to take the kick. During this time Luganeros AFC's players had a chance to rest. Rogério Vilanova made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Isidoro Benino sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Luganeros AFC's Aurelio Txurio to fire away a dangerous shot which Rogério Vilanova despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ÓKINJÔ FC's Rogério Vilanova proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ÓKINJÔ FC from getting a goal against them. If Aprígio Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Kai kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Damaso Rencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogério Vilanova came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Luganeros AFC's Damaso Rencio. But to his dismay, Damaso Rencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Baldaia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rogério Vilanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Rencio in the 53rd minute of play. Rogério Vilanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Rencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Henrique Vilas Boas hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A collision led to ÓKINJÔ FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Armando Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejo Gaspard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. Aprígio Sá struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Alejo Gaspard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ÓKINJÔ FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Baldaia in the 94th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Alejo Gaspard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
