The crowd rose to their feet as Alvoha FC's Erasmo Iruinea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bogumil Madajczyk. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Kazimierz Ligas charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
