After some careless play in the O.T.E defense, Kazimierz Ligas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikos Tavlaridis. The O.T.E fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikos Tavlaridis should have stopped the shot. After having played for 12 minutes, Ludomil Balkiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bękarty Wojny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludomil Balkiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zdzislaw Kanczuszewski scored 0-4 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikos Tavlaridis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sakis Batirakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bogumil Madajczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogumil Madajczyk made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Sakis Batirakis sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Bękarty Wojny were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zdzislaw Kanczuszewski made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Stefan Siekierka put in a rough tackle. In the 57th match minute, Bękarty Wojny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Siekierka to maneuver through the defense. O.T.E's Vaggelis Karagiozis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bękarty Wojny. The supporters of Bękarty Wojny booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thodoris Karnezis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludomil Balkiewicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Nikos Tavlaridis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Maciej Kloczko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Zdzislaw Kanczuszewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Tavlaridis. O.T.E's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zdzislaw Kanczuszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonis Klinakis in the 75th minute of play forced Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Bogumil Madajczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikos Tavlaridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Kanczuszewski in the 77th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Kazimierz Ligas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bękarty Wojny and the O.T.E players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kazimierz Ligas kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Bogumil Madajczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonis Klinakis's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Tadeusz Mazierski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonis Klinakis in the 87th minute of play forced Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Bogumil Madajczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kyriakos Lilis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogumil Madajczyk having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Bękarty Wojny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Ligas to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Vaggelis Karagiozis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogumil Madajczyk skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle sounded Bękarty Wojny left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than O.T.E.
