The O.T.E fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dan Năstase hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Omiros Paspalakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Bărnuțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Scorpions -MM-'s goalie and right to Theofilos Chronatos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Scorpions -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Valentin Şteţ charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Şteţ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iurie Cocoș was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Giorgos Digozis. After 19 minutes of play, Scorpions -MM-'s Ferdinand Chirculescu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikos Tavlaridis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Omiros Paspalakis kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theofilos Chronatos to maneuver through the defense. Antonis Klinakis kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. O.T.E's Nikos Tavlaridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Chirculescu in the 27th minute of play. The Scorpions -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Scorpions -MM-'s Ferdinand Chirculescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute Antonis Klinakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Cocoș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Şteţ hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Digozis to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Dan Năstase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinand Chirculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Tavlaridis having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Năstase got free with Nikos Tavlaridis in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. O.T.E's Sakis Batirakis got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Omiros Paspalakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Cocoș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikos Tavlaridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Năstase, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vaggelis Karagiozis during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Vaggelis Karagiozis. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
