The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiburcio Maore showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Chusca's Feliciano Rey got a free kick in the 8th minute. Tiburcio Maore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Fausto Aguiar's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Chusca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Orlondon. With a little luck, Joinville Esporte Clube's Wellington Montenegro got control of the ball when Alonzo Lugo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fausto Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiburcio Maore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Mangueira in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Perrando in the 28th minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Wellington Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Alfonso Perrando sent off a good shot on target. Tiburcio Maore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Tiburcio Maore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Célio Mangueira in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Wellington Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Perrando. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Gil to strike the kick off in the second half. Wellington Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Gil in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Deivid Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deivid Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 62 minutes of play, Joinville Esporte Clube's Fausto Aguiar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Maore was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 played minutes Joinville Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Vaz. Bernardino Orlondon hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Alfonso Perrando hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, Joinville Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Maore was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Célio Mangueira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Célio Mangueira really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Tiburcio Maore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonçalo Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 83 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Ireno. Club Atletico Chusca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Fausto Aguiar scored to the left of an out of position Tiburcio Maore, making the score, 0-3. In the 93rd match minute, Club Atletico Chusca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Geleberto to maneuver through the defense. After 95 minutes, Feliciano Rey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Chusca and the Joinville Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atletico Chusca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty!
