The crowd rose to their feet as José Vítor Vergílio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeo Sesuldo. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Tadeo Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Hermes in the 7th minute of play. Baldomero Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Germano Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mixto Esporte Clube's José Vítor Vergílio got a free kick in the 18th minute. Tadeo Sesuldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcus Hermes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Marcus Hermes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Sesuldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Francisco Onbera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Onbera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Mixto Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Tximitx came free, but Germano Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mixto Esporte Clube's Germano Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Tximitx in the 38th minute of play. José Vítor Vergílio came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tadeo Sesuldo could save by the left post. If Marcus Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Marcus Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Mixto Esporte Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Joaquin Gomesano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Germano Galvão. Kléberson Rosado hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Marcus Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tadeo Sesuldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Rosado in the 65th minute of play. Valentin Ubelteso's late challenge caught a Mixto Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Ubelteso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Valentin Ubelteso got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 67 minutes, Rodriguinho Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mixto Esporte Clube and the Club A. Chipa y Tereré players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club A. Chipa y Tereré booed when Mixto Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Sesuldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléberson Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Marcus Hermes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Marcus Hermes might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Sesuldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Hermes ran back to his position shaking his head. Kléberson Rosado struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Tadeo Sesuldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mixto Esporte Clube. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Chipa y Tereré's zone, Kléberson Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Sesuldo came out of the goal and Kléberson Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kléberson Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tadeo Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gomesano hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Tximitx in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mixto Esporte Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
