Arne Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Baptista in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MaLe FC's Sixten Zachrisson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Arne Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar da Fonseca in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Flávio Meireles hit a great ball. After 10 minutes of play, MaLe FC's Sverker Fanström made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, MaLe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Larsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, MaLe FC's Ingemar Larsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 18th match minute, Blumenau Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Baptista to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Tepedino. Ingemar Larsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Délio Gerber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Arne Blomqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ingemar Larsson had several of the Blumenau Esporte Clube's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Bruno Branco as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Larsson got free with Bruno Branco in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sverker Fanström struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Bruno Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MaLe FC. Arne Blomqvist came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Erik Baptista. But to his dismay, Erik Baptista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Baptista made a kick off. Délio Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match, Erik Baptista tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arne Blomqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tiago Dionísio hit a great ball. Ingemar Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Bruno Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MaLe FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Erik Baptista scored to the left of an out of position Arne Blomqvist, making the score, 3-3. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Silas Silva got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute Joakim Biörkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Tepedino. Wilian Vasconcelos made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MaLe FC's Verner Grönlund. Bruno Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Duset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingemar Larsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Flávio Meireles fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blumenau Esporte Clube's protests and gave Flávio Meireles a yellow card for diving instead. Flávio Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
