Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ingemar Larsson started the match with the kick off. When Nicu Isăilă came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Politehnica Timisoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicu Isăilă couldn't finish the play. Verner Grönlund kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Arne Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Nenciu in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to MaLe FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sixten Zachrisson hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Codrin Remus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arne Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Remus, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 1-2 became the score in the 32nd minute when Marius Harhoiu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nicu Isăilă kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes MaLe FC got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Burman. 39 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Remus came free, but Arne Blomqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the MaLe FC defense, Codrin Remus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Blomqvist. The MaLe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Blomqvist should have stopped the shot. Marius Harhoiu took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Blomqvist. Arne Blomqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Jan-Erik Burman kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Arne Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Harhoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Codrin Remus made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Marius Harhoiu notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of MaLe FC's Arne Blomqvist. Arne Blomqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arne Blomqvist was a little too slow when Marius Harhoiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Larsson in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Olimpiu Ignea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, MaLe FC's Arne Blomqvist got control of the ball when Codrin Remus tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, MaLe FC's Jan-Erik Burman got a free kick in the 70th minute. The long shot by Dorin Lungu in the 71st minute really tested Arne Blomqvist's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, MaLe FC's Arne Blomqvist got control of the ball when Nicu Isăilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to MaLe FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Bo-Erik Jonsson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Nicu Isăilă got a free kick in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, FC Politehnica Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Larsson came free, but Olimpiu Ignea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Bo-Erik Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Codrin Remus was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, MaLe FC's Karl-Axel Gustavsson got a free kick in the 86th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Codrin Remus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Arne Blomqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Politehnica Timisoara's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
