But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Hak couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mixto Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Pitt Bier the free kick. In the 7th minute, Rodriguinho Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute of the match Tim Hartogh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Germano Galvão skillfully saved the ball. Bram Smits struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Germano Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Pitt Bier. Mixto Esporte Clube's Germano Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Rogaars in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Marco Hak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germano Galvão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When AC Pitt Bier's Bram Smits in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mixto Esporte Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Germano Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Smits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marco Hak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germano Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Hak, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes, Bram Smits made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Mixto Esporte Clube's Germano Galvão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Bram Smits came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the AC Pitt Bier fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bram Smits couldn't finish the play. Germano Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bram Smits's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mixto Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tim Hartogh was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Pitt Bier's players had a chance to rest.

When Carlos Eduardo Sergipano fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mixto Esporte Clube's protests and gave Carlos Eduardo Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Eduardo Sergipano hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, AC Pitt Bier's Bram Smits ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Germano Galvão. Germano Galvão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Bram Smits who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Germano Galvão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Johannes Rogaars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Galvão having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Mixto Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Hermes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to AC Pitt Bier getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Vincent Wielens hit a great ball. AC Pitt Bier made a substitution. Twan Lute replaced Johannes Rogaars. In the 89th minute, Maurício Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Bram Smits took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Germano Galvão to make any attempt to save it. Bram Smits did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Germano Galvão 97 minutes into the match. AC Pitt Bier's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
