Mixto Esporte Clube's Germano Galvão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Mixto Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. After 6 minutes of play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Délio Gerber made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Galvão was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Délio Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mixto Esporte Clube's zone, Erik Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Galvão came out of the goal and Erik Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Erik Baptista recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Germano Galvão. Erik Baptista showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Erik Baptista took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Galvão. Germano Galvão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Mixto Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Marcus Hermes hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Blumenau Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Délio Gerber. In the 27th minute, Délio Gerber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mixto Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Délio Gerber was slow to take the kick. During this time Blumenau Esporte Clube's players had a chance to rest. Blumenau Esporte Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Délio Gerber in the 31st minute. Luisinho Neto tried in the game's 31st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Germano Galvão. An annoying self made goal, 4-0. Délio Gerber's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Germano Galvão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Mixto Esporte Clube's Marcus Hermes got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Marcus Hermes made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Mixto Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Sergipano. If Marcus Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Délio Gerber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germano Galvão was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 68 minutes into the match, Mixto Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Gerber came free, but Germano Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blumenau Esporte Clube made a substitution. Cleiton Trigo replaced Erik Baptista. Maurício Félix hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes Mixto Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Meireles. In the 89th minute, Cleiton Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when Mixto Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball.
