Rolf Saelens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Berger in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathias Berger to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when De Keikoppers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Gillekens didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Steve De kaiser had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kiko Aparecido. Sagarana Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steve De kaiser was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 76th minute of the match Boris Stroobant sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kiko Aparecido skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Steve De kaiser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiko Aparecido was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Steve De kaiser sped through Sagarana Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kiko Aparecido. 93 minutes into the game, De Keikoppers's Boris Stroobant nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kiko Aparecido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. De Keikoppers were victorious despite being under pressure from Sagarana Clube for much of the match.
