The Blau Weiß Sauerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merten Schütz should have stopped the shot. Javiero Núñez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Merten Schütz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Owen Gill took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Merten Schütz. Merten Schütz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Merten Schütz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Owen Gill went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Sanford Byrd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marten Bienstock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Merten Schütz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javiero Núñez's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The EL LOBO DE MIAMI fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Javiero Núñez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of EL LOBO DE MIAMI booed when Blau Weiß Sauerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Beier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javiero Núñez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Merten Schütz made a huge save. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blau Weiß Sauerland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Javiero Núñez was slow to take the kick. During this time EL LOBO DE MIAMI's players had a chance to rest. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Tuan Romano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Merten Schütz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Blau Weiß Sauerland's Trent Jopp got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute Benjamin Siemienski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sanford Byrd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Merten Schütz managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Lucien Simon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 45 in the game by Javiero Núñez from a close distance when the talented Merten Schütz managed to make a qualified save. Blau Weiß Sauerland's players were relieved. After 46 minutes, Rainder Just mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blau Weiß Sauerland and the EL LOBO DE MIAMI players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rainder Just hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Javiero Núñez made the kick off in the second half. Florian Dähne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sanford Byrd having to interfere. Merten Schütz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javiero Núñez's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Owen Gill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sanford Byrd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marten Bienstock, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Blau Weiß Sauerland booed when EL LOBO DE MIAMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufus Cross didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javiero Núñez in the 62nd minute of play forced Blau Weiß Sauerland's goalkeeper Merten Schütz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Blau Weiß Sauerland getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Marten Bienstock hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Blau Weiß Sauerland's goal looked a bit too open when Owen Gill came free, but Merten Schütz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wolfgang Burgmeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Owen Gill notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Blau Weiß Sauerland's Merten Schütz. Merten Schütz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute Javiero Núñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merten Schütz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Siemienski's late challenge caught a EL LOBO DE MIAMI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Siemienski helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Blau Weiß Sauerland got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Siemienski. In the 85th minute, Blau Weiß Sauerland's Wolfgang Burgmeier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-1. 94 minutes into the game, Marten Bienstock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Sanford Byrd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
