In the 3rd minute, Sancarbey Çakıroğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MarineerS FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sancarbey Çakıroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Menderes Ünaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the game, MarineerS FK's Sancarbey Çakıroğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Merten Schütz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Menderes Ünaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merten Schütz having to interfere. A collision led to Blau Weiß Sauerland getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vicco Reckle hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Marten Bienstock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Trent Jopp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blau Weiß Sauerland's Merten Schütz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sancarbey Çakıroğlu in the 29th minute of play. Merten Schütz came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by MarineerS FK's Sancarbey Çakıroğlu. But to his dismay, Sancarbey Çakıroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, Blau Weiß Sauerland's Marten Bienstock got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 41 minutes of play, MarineerS FK's Sancarbey Çakıroğlu made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Merten Schütz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

Menderes Ünaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merten Schütz having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Günther Josef mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blau Weiß Sauerland and the MarineerS FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Blau Weiß Sauerland booed when MarineerS FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halit Fahri Subutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Siemienski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Wolfgang Burgmeier scored 1-6 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Hakan Topel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Menderes Ünaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merten Schütz having to interfere. Merten Schütz made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Sancarbey Çakıroğlu sent off a good shot on target. Sancarbey Çakıroğlu spun around in front of the goal 68 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Blau Weiß Sauerland's goal. Merten Schütz made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Menderes Ünaldi sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Ahmet Bilgiç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Menderes Ünaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merten Schütz having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Sancarbey Çakıroğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Merten Schütz. Blau Weiß Sauerland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sancarbey Çakıroğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Vicco Reckle hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Halil Can Bengi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Merten Schütz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Blau Weiß Sauerland's goalkeeper Merten Schütz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sancarbey Çakıroğlu. Sancarbey Çakıroğlu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Merten Schütz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Esra Mühlichen lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for MarineerS FK. Menderes Ünaldi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Merten Schütz. 1-8.
