Nicanor Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kiko Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sagarana Clube's Mathias Berger got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Matias Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Adelino Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sagarana Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centeno the free kick. After 33 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Andrade. Kiko Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Balesio in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Matias Matthew fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience was convinced that Alejo Nardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiko Aparecido was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Vladimiro Romano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Mathias Berger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimiro Romano. Centeno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Berger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Robustiano Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Sagarana Clube were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathias Berger made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Centeno's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Salles came free, but Vladimiro Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiko Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Nardo in the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo dos Santos. Uriel Napier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kiko Aparecido. Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th minute, Uriel Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Berger's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Vladimiro Romano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 60 minutes of play Sagarana Clube's Adelino Andrade was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 63rd match minute, Sagarana Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Kiko Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Rolado in the 72nd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sagarana Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
