When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Diego Alberete put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lino Naelio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Alberete in the 11th minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Lino Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Uruguay Buceo B.F's Euloxu Arrieta got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 23rd minute Ramón Abila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Criston Vinegra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Abila charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramón Abila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Ramón Abila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
