Criston Vinegra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when Uruguay Buceo B.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Hordas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes Uruguay Buceo B.F got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Urquioja. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartuelo Solorzano in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio de Senna saved Poetass FC from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Dani Portillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dani Portillo scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Criston Vinegra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Portillo in the 24th minute of play forced Uruguay Buceo B.F's goalkeeper Criston Vinegra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Olavo Carioca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Criston Vinegra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cássio de Senna made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Faustino Hordas sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Hordas came free, but Cássio de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Alberete in the 38th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Criston Vinegra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dani Portillo in the 42nd minute of the match. Poetass FC's Cássio de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Poetass FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olavo Carioca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Uruguay Buceo B.F's Bartuelo Solorzano in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 61st match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Euloxu Arrieta's late challenge caught a Poetass FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Euloxu Arrieta helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Uruguay Buceo B.F's Euloxu Arrieta got a free kick in the 69th minute. Sandrinho Carvalho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Criston Vinegra. Uruguay Buceo B.F's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Sandrinho Carvalho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Criston Vinegra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 78 minutes into the game, Lidon Colomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay Buceo B.F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poetass FC the free kick. Lidon Colomes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Criston Vinegra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Carioca in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Poetass FC's zone, Lamberto Santotis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio de Senna came out of the goal and Lamberto Santotis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Alberete in the 88th minute of play. Orlando Urquioja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio de Senna having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match Lidon Colomes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cássio de Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Poetass FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
