Remigio Favila made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Natalio Bernal sent off a good shot on target. After 20 played minutes Barsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Guerrero. In the 33rd minute, Joaquin Romelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Martxelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateo Raymond to make the kick off. If Natalio Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, Barsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Bernal came free, but Remigio Favila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Eleder in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Rolando Furtado got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 69th minute Natalio Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Favila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natalio Bernal went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Natalio Bernal scored 3-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Favila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateo Raymond came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cipriano Elazar could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Natalio Bernal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remigio Favila was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when Barsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Tomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Bernal in the 87th minute of play forced Barsa FC's goalkeeper Remigio Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Elazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Raymond in the 89th minute. The supporters of Barsa FC booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Kemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Elazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barsa FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
