Ciriaco Dolcet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Camilo Bittor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Vidal in the 7th minute of the match. Paulão Nóbrega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Bittor having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Guilherme do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VARGINHA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Bidun hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, VARGINHA FC's Paulão Nóbrega broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Camilo Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Nóbrega in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match, Aristides Ezkerra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gabriel Medeiros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Camilo Bittor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Vidal in the 30th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Camilo Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trinchera FC's Camilo Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Vidal in the 31st minute of play. Denílson Vidal scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Bittor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Denílson Vidal made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Erasmo Naelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denílson Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Camilo Bittor made a huge save. Lorenzo Duarte struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gabriel Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinchera FC. Cipriano Beltza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gabriel Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Kauan Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paulão Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Duarte, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Lorenzo Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trinchera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to VARGINHA FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. João Pedro Cardoso hit a great ball. After 72 minutes, Cipriano Beltza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trinchera FC and the VARGINHA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Trinchera FC's Cipriano Beltza got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Paulão Nóbrega dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Camilo Bittor, 1-2. In the 79th match minute, Trinchera FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Bidun to maneuver through the defense. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing VARGINHA FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
