Robert Popic kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Eugen Hrușcă shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristi Berbec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Izesti getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Denis Berevoescu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, The Owls's Victor Bufi got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petruț Alecu in the 13th minute of play forced FC Izesti's goalkeeper Cristi Berbec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Izesti booed when The Owls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Chira didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Iacob Spelbu from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Francisc Rădulescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Eugen Hrușcă took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristi Berbec. FC Izesti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25th minute Constantin Ifrim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristi Berbec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Izesti's Petru Borcea got a free kick in the 25th minute. Cristi Berbec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Alecu in the 30th minute of the match. Iacob Spelbu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes, The Owls's Eugen Hrușcă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristi Berbec came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Owls reached it. Iacob Spelbu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Eugen Hrușcă shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristi Berbec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 36 played minutes The Owls got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Alecu. Cristi Berbec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantin Ifrim went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Doru Negrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Owls were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petruț Alecu to strike the kick off in the second half. Petruț Alecu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Berbec having to interfere. After 52 minutes of play, The Owls's Constantin Ifrim made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristi Berbec was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 56 minutes, Victor Bufi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Owls and the FC Izesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Victor Bufi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Izesti's Viorel Doloman in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marius Procas short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Cristi Berbec to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cristi Berbec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Constantin Ifrim in the 70th minute. Sergiu Codreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doru Negrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristi Berbec having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, FC Izesti's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Alecu came free, but Cristi Berbec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristi Berbec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Alecu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantin Ifrim got free with Cristi Berbec in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristi Berbec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Alecu in the 89th minute of play. Cristi Berbec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Chira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marius Procas short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Cristi Berbec to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 94th minute, Petruț Alecu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristi Berbec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When the final whistle sounded The Owls left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Izesti.
