Doru Negrescu came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victor Oblemenco could save by the left post. Eantdit FK's Nicu Siclovan got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Petruț Alecu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Petruț Alecu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Victor Oblemenco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Marius Proca hit a great ball. Victor Oblemenco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petruț Alecu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The The Owls fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when The Owls's Petruț Alecu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eantdit FK's Victor Oblemenco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Eantdit FK from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iurie Crușeveanu during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Eantdit FK got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Crușeveanu. Victor Oblemenco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eugen Hrușcă. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marius Proca during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 41 played minutes The Owls got a freekick which was hit by Marius Proca.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petruț Alecu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Constantin Ifrim hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Doru Negrescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Owls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eantdit FK the free kick. In the 57th match minute, The Owls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Negrescu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of The Owls booed when Eantdit FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Dinulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Eantdit FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Oblemenco should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petruț Alecu in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Oblemenco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, The Owls's Fabian Isăcescu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Owls had won after a very even match.
