Petruț Alecu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Pazura having to interfere. The supporters of The Owls booed when Russówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Penczkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doru Negrescu got free with Zenon Pazura in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Barnaba Zachemski made a precise shot to the right of Francisc Rădulescu. The Owls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Russówek's Zenon Pazura got control of the ball when Constantin Ifrim tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Russówek's Jerzy Pliszka made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisc Rădulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Maciej Chmelyk made a precise shot to the right of Francisc Rădulescu. The Owls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Petruț Alecu hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Petruț Alecu made the kick off in the second half. When Constantin Ifrim, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zenon Pazura was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Ifrim came free, but Zenon Pazura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Petruț Alecu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Pazura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Russówek's Zenon Pazura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Ifrim in the 65th minute of play. If Maciej Chmelyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Owls were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Russówek's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugen Hrușcă took the corner. The corner led to The Owls's Constantin Ifrim getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jerzy Pliszka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Francisc Rădulescu made a huge save. Maciej Chmelyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Barnaba Zachemski got a free kick in the 94th minute.
