A collision led to Altamora FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Osvaldo Calado hit a great ball. Mariusz Dziedelonis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Waldemar Poniewaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Pádua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Bialystok's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Palma came free, but Zula Petrasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Altamora FC booed when Jagiellonia Bialystok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Dziedelonis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Madeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zula Petrasz having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Saúl Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altamora FC and the Jagiellonia Bialystok players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Altamora FC's Saúl Correia got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 26 minutes of play Altamora FC's Saúl Correia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 29th minute, Zeferino Lage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goalkeeper Vítor Pádua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariusz Dziedelonis. Rui Madeira kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ademar Baía scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zula Petrasz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rui Madeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rui Madeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Pádua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Dziedelonis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 63 minutes in the game, Rui Madeira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zula Petrasz having to interfere. After some careless play in the Altamora FC defense, Mariusz Dziedelonis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Pádua. The Altamora FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Pádua should have stopped the shot. Vítor Pádua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariusz Dziedelonis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Jagiellonia Bialystok got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Debowski. After 76 played minutes Caio Palma scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Zula Petrasz who was too lazy, 1-2. If Kacper Karpinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Eurico Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Petrasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altamora FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademar Baía was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zula Petrasz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
