Inácio Souto came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Joga Bonito's Lucjan Kasperowicz. But to his dismay, Lucjan Kasperowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Radomir Bienienda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Jeremias Cerezo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radomir Bienienda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 14th minute, Artur Topolski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radomir Bienienda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Cerezo went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Jeremias Cerezo put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Radomir Bienienda. When Aloísio Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GynBsb's protests and gave Aloísio Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GynBsb getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ramiro Silveira hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Topolski made a kick off. Joga Bonito's Radomir Bienienda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Moraes in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Joga Bonito's Radomir Bienienda got control of the ball when Waldir Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Topolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Souto having to interfere. The supporters of Joga Bonito booed when GynBsb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Topolski in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inácio Souto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 played minutes GynBsb got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Ramalho. GynBsb's Waldir Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radomir Bienienda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Cerezo in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito's Ziemowit Brzonkala got a free kick in the 86th minute. Aloísio Valadares was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Aloísio Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Waldir Moraes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Radomir Bienienda was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. GynBsb's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
