Nelsinho Mandrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Lluis went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute, Gilson Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cláudio Sabóia's late challenge caught a C. A. BELGRANO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio Sabóia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, WMWILD1983FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to C. A. BELGRANO getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Isaias Bonifaco hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, WMWILD1983FC's Gilson Freire ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amadeo Amor. Amadeo Amor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Restu in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Mandrak saved WMWILD1983FC from getting behind. If Serginho de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half C. A. BELGRANO were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilson Freire was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gilson Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. WMWILD1983FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilson Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Amor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sixto Lluis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. C. A. BELGRANO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnulfo Restu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nelsinho Mandrak. That made the score 1-5 in the 55 minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match, Natalio Casado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nelsinho Mandrak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Gil Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes WMWILD1983FC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Sabóia. WMWILD1983FC's Nelsinho Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save WMWILD1983FC from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Teodosio Perfecto made a precise shot to the right of Nelsinho Mandrak. WMWILD1983FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. When the final whistle sounded C. A. BELGRANO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than WMWILD1983FC.
