The DAMIAN TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Bixintxo should have stopped the shot. Adelino Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Leo Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Leopoldo Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DAMIAN TEAM. After having played for 21 minutes, Igor Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gracie Barra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Queirós was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Angelo Osasun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Angelo Osasun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. DAMIAN TEAM's Anastasio Serafo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ermegildo Bixintxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Dolcet during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Cristian Dolcet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabinho Vinhas took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ermegildo Bixintxo. Ermegildo Bixintxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Fabinho Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Adelino Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Gracie Barra getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Edmílson Bastos hit a great ball. Tiago Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Hélio Reis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Reis to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Alfonso Endira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gracie Barra's Leopoldo Queirós didn't even have to move. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Tiago Godoi put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ermegildo Bixintxo. The supporters of DAMIAN TEAM booed when Gracie Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermegildo Bixintxo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. 97 minutes into the game, Angelo Osasun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Leopoldo Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Gracie Barra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gracie Barra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
