Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Calistrat Baicea started the match with the kick off. Carlos Augusto Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Dorin Ciungu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gracie Barra. After a rather tough play, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Nistor Zbârlea got a free kick in the 4th minute. Carlos Augusto Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Fabinho Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dorin Ciungu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avram Bot hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes Gracie Barra got a freekick which was hit by Igor Pirani. 18 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Dorin Ciungu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Pirani. Leopoldo Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calistrat Baicea went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dorin Ciungu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Gracie Barra's Doni Ramalho. But to his dismay, Doni Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gracie Barra's Leopoldo Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Gherase in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gracie Barra's Doni Ramalho got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Ramalho came free, but Dorin Ciungu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Baicea charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calistrat Baicea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Pirani to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Avram Dănășel made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Queirós. Gracie Barra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gracie Barra's Leopoldo Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Gracie Barra from getting a goal against them. Carlos Augusto Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Ciungu having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Gracie Barra's Doni Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorin Ciungu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Calistrat Baicea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Ramalho in the 86th minute of play forced Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalkeeper Dorin Ciungu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gracie Barra's Doni Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Baicea in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the game, Petre Covataru landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 92 minutes into the game, Oséias Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gracie Barra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely the free kick. Oséias Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Leopoldo Queirós was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nistor Zbârlea. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
