After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Lennart Saare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drunken Sea Monkeys's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennart Saare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, GoooooL's Laurențiu Floricel got a free kick in the 4th minute. Filip Otețea kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Kevin Kivaste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Molodețiu in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Molodețiu in the 10th minute of play forced Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Kevin Kivaste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Kivaste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Mănescu in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Marcel Molodețiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoooooL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Molodețiu in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Kivaste saved Drunken Sea Monkeys from getting behind. After having played for 23 minutes, Üllar Kalle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drunken Sea Monkeys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Üllar Kalle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, GoooooL's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Ştefulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart Saare. Tiberiu Andone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Kivaste having to interfere. Mihăiţă Ştefulescu made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Kusti Liiva sent off a good shot on target. Marcel Molodețiu took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Kivaste. Kevin Kivaste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 37 played minutes GoooooL got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Hârciog. Kevin Kivaste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Floricel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Molodețiu came free, but Kevin Kivaste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennart Saare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Ştefulescu having to interfere. After the first half GoooooL were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kevin Kivaste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Mănescu in the 51st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Marcel Molodețiu took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Kevin Kivaste to make any attempt to save it. After 58 minutes of play, GoooooL's Marcel Molodețiu made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevin Kivaste was left in no man's land by his defense there! Üllar Kalle's late challenge caught a GoooooL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Üllar Kalle helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Drunken Sea Monkeys getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Üllar Kalle hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, GoooooL's Marcel Molodețiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Tiberiu Andone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kevin Kivaste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Kivaste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Molodețiu in the 73rd minute of play. Laurențiu Floricel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Kevin Kivaste made a huge save. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Kevin Kivaste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Drunken Sea Monkeys from getting a goal against them. GoooooL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
