A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Alvar Söderman hit a great ball. Vinnie Jones kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Conny Mårtensson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alessandro Ascenzi skillfully saved the ball. Sundens BK's Wilhelm Säv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Sundens BK from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the game, Attilio Penna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palestra14's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundens BK the free kick. 18 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's Conny Mårtensson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 23rd match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Alebäck to maneuver through the defense. Andrea Silenzi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Wilhelm Säv skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Palestra14's Andrea Silenzi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vinnie Jones lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Alvar Söderman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Attilio Torelli fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra14's protests and gave Attilio Torelli a yellow card for diving instead. Attilio Torelli kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Palestra14's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Asserlindh came free, but Alessandro Ascenzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conny Mårtensson to make the kick off. With a little luck, Palestra14's Alessandro Ascenzi got control of the ball when Tommy Asserlindh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilhelm Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Silenzi in the 54th minute of the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Attilio Torelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundens BK's Wilhelm Säv was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Torelli came free, but Wilhelm Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conny Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Ascenzi having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Palestra14 got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Torelli. After 86 played minutes Palestra14 got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Bartolomucci. Conny Mårtensson's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Alessandro Ascenzi on his right side and into the goal. 86 minutes into the game it was 0-1. 93 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Torelli came free, but Wilhelm Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sundens BK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sundens BK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
