In the 13th match minute, ≮Empire≯风云☆泉州黄狮☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 韩升凡 to maneuver through the defense. 庄杰帆 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Weijnants's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Brugge United's Christian Meys in 16 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. 庄杰帆 guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 庄杰帆 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Weijnants in the 18th minute of play. Christian Meys took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 庄杰帆. 庄杰帆 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With his leg 庄杰帆 managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Brugge United's Christian Meys fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 35 minutes into the match, 陆洲坤 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnold Wyns. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Christian Meys put it in 9-1 from a short distance just to the right of 庄杰帆. After 81st play minutes Christian Meys shot 10-1, a short shot which went by 庄杰帆 and just under the crossbar into goal. If 庄文南 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Christian Meys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brugge United's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Meys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 庄杰帆 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute Christian Meys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 庄杰帆 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 庄杰帆 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Meys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Brugge United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
