A collision led to ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dimos Kokoris hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s zone, Hanspeter Büchel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amykos Stamatelopoulos came out of the goal and Hanspeter Büchel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute Hanspeter Büchel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amykos Stamatelopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Kevin Stoffel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Amykos Stamatelopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christoph Kolp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kevin Stoffel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Amykos Stamatelopoulos 11 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s goalkeeper Amykos Stamatelopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Stoffel. Christoph Kolp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Amykos Stamatelopoulos made a huge save. When Dionysos Avgerinos fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s protests and gave Dionysos Avgerinos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Dionysos Avgerinos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alois Gräber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Amykos Stamatelopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ismaele Santo Fischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helios Ladas charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helios Ladas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Helios Ladas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Motala AIF's Amykos Stamatelopoulos threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Stoffel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Stoffel in the 33rd minute of play forced ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽'s goalkeeper Amykos Stamatelopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Motala AIF's Kevin Stoffel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amykos Stamatelopoulos. Amykos Stamatelopoulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Christoph Kolp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes Motala AIF got a freekick which was hit by Edy Erne. Skhoineus Nikolaou hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Amykos Stamatelopoulos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hanspeter Büchel. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Stoffel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amykos Stamatelopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Stoffel, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Motala AIF's Christoph Kolp got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 played minutes ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Skhoineus Nikolaou. When Christopher Vögeli came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Motala AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Vögeli couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ booed when Motala AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Girstmair didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Christoph Kolp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Motala AIF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⚽ Sombra Amarella ⚽ the free kick. A collision led to Motala AIF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Christoph Kolp hit a great ball. Aison Mitsinikos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Motala AIF's goalkeeper Elvir Langer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charalambos Kouropoulos. Thanks to some nice moves Aison Mitsinikos could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Elvir Langer however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charalambos Kouropoulos got free with Elvir Langer in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Motala AIF had won after a very even match.
