Lino Correia started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Gliwicka Torcida's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Cardoso came free, but Jacek Giertych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Limoeiro-PE FC booed when Gliwicka Torcida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Kazczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Motyl in the 14th minute. Limoeiro-PE FC's Ricardo Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Limoeiro-PE FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 20 minutes, Korneliusz Szpakowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gliwicka Torcida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korneliusz Szpakowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Borys Motyl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gliwicka Torcida's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Motyl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Carneiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Korneliusz Szpakowski came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gliwicka Torcida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korneliusz Szpakowski couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Motyl in the 35th minute. Limoeiro-PE FC's Ricardo Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Szpakowski in the 38th minute of play. Ricardo Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Szpakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gliwicka Torcida's Wlodzimierz Damaski suffered a sore foot after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 47 minutes, Betinho Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limoeiro-PE FC and the Gliwicka Torcida players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gliwicka Torcida made a substitution. Gwidon Grunwalski replaced Wlodzimierz Damaski. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cafu Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Borys Motyl in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Carneiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Borys Motyl came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Gliwicka Torcida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Motyl couldn't finish the play. Jacek Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gliwicka Torcida booed when Limoeiro-PE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willian Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Lino Correia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacek Giertych. Lino Correia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Eliseu Camargo put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Eliseu Camargo got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Betinho Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witold Rostow, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Borys Motyl took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Carneiro. Ricardo Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 97 minutes in the game, Nicolas Cardoso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jacek Giertych having to interfere. Lino Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Jacek Giertych made a huge save. Limoeiro-PE FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
