An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Östlund in the 19th minute of play forced SinháCity FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hummerfiskarna's Kurt Vallander got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The SinháCity FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hummerfiskarna were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Adelino Vale made the kick off in the second half. Hummerfiskarna's Gottfrid Kullander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Messias in the 52nd minute of play. Melker Granqvist hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Gustavo Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Palmquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Gustavo Barral was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Melker Granqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Melker Granqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Nestor Messias hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SinháCity FC's zone, Åke Palmquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Barral came out of the goal and Åke Palmquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Åke Palmquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SinháCity FC's Gustavo Barral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Bernt Ersman sped through SinháCity FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustavo Barral. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Gustavo Barral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustavo Barral was a little too slow when Åke Palmquist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-8. When Eric Lövgren fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hummerfiskarna's protests and gave Eric Lövgren a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hummerfiskarna's Eric Lövgren got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Göran Östlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horácio Antunes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The SinháCity FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hummerfiskarna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
