In the 11th minute Hanspeter Büchel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kevin Stoffel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes, Kevin Stoffel made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. SinháCity FC's Gustavo Barral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nando Baptista during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Motala AIF were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Denílson Valle made the kick off in the second half. Valdir Mattos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Hanspeter Büchel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Barral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, Kevin Stoffel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Barral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When Christoph Kolp fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motala AIF's protests and gave Christoph Kolp a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Motala AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph Kolp to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Barral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Stoffel in the 70th minute. Kevin Stoffel's late challenge caught a SinháCity FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Stoffel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SinháCity FC booed when Motala AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Stoffel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Fabio Girstmair in the 86th minute really tested Gustavo Barral's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kevin Stoffel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Barral having to interfere. Motala AIF played a much better game than SinháCity FC and deserved their victory. The SinháCity FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
