After a defensive mix-up in Montechiarugolo AFC's zone, Joel Rouvoet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Tenaglia came out of the goal and Joel Rouvoet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Nic Van Turnhout was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Hill United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montechiarugolo AFC the free kick. After 42 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Nic Van Turnhout. Eraldo Lucchetta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbrecht Van Eijken having to interfere. Joel Rouvoet kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, North Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Lucchetta came free, but Robbrecht Van Eijken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Lissens to make the kick off. After 55 minutes, Cosimo Ragazzoni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montechiarugolo AFC and the North Hill United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosimo Ragazzoni kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Bill Baert charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bill Baert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, North Hill United's Bill Baert got a free kick in the 59th minute. Robbrecht Van Eijken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Combi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Eraldo Lucchetta took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Robbrecht Van Eijken to make any attempt to save it. In the 72nd minute, Montechiarugolo AFC's Flavio Combi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. 75 minutes into the game, Cosimo Ragazzoni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robbrecht Van Eijken. Cosimo Ragazzoni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After 80 minutes of play Montechiarugolo AFC's Cesare Cinalli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Montechiarugolo AFC's Cesare Cinalli got a free kick in the 80th minute. Domenico Tenaglia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Lissens in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Joel Rouvoet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Montechiarugolo AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than North Hill United.
