North Hill United's Thobias Huveneers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Kempka in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mieszko Literski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thobias Huveneers was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After 17 played minutes North Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Anthoon Van Balen. When Joannes Vischkens fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Hill United's protests and gave Joannes Vischkens a yellow card for diving instead. FC Grodzka's Dobromir Dresik was substituted for Fabian Kempka. Joannes Vischkens kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Mieszko Literski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thobias Huveneers having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Grodzka's Wincent Ferfecki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thobias Huveneers. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. If Youri Van Geele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of North Hill United booed when FC Grodzka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Literski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurens Feys's late challenge caught a FC Grodzka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurens Feys helped the player get up and apologised. Zdzislaw Walentowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Lissens in the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, North Hill United's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Sala came free, but Thobias Huveneers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mieszko Literski to make the kick off. North Hill United's Youri Van Geele got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mieszko Literski's late challenge caught a North Hill United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mieszko Literski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Mieszko Literski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Lissens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Youri Van Geele managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Hill United's supporters rose to their feet, but Youri Van Geele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdzislaw Walentowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Olaf Fikus fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Grodzka's protests and gave Olaf Fikus a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes FC Grodzka got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Fikus. Thobias Huveneers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mieszko Literski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mieszko Literski in the 81st minute of play forced North Hill United's goalkeeper Thobias Huveneers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute Bill Baert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Walentowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaud Pannekoek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zdzislaw Walentowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that FC Grodzka were the better team. FC Grodzka's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
