Denílson Vargas started the match with the kick off. Toninho Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toninho Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Toninho Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Romário Garcia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Igor Pires. Psiu!'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Romário Nóbregas short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Igor Pires to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Psiu!'s Igor Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Nóbrega in the 16th minute of play. When Matheus Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Psiu! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matheus Paiva couldn't finish the play. Ian Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Paiva in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, Psiu!'s Igor Pires got control of the ball when Giovanni Custódio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 played minutes Psiu! got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Veloso. The long shot by Romário Garcia in the 43rd minute really tested Igor Pires's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrézinho Fernandes during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Psiu! booed when Templários MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romário Nóbrega was the one to do the kick off. Psiu!'s Sidnei Veloso got his second yellow card of the match in the 50th minute. The referee ordered Sidnei Veloso off the ground. After a rather tough play, Psiu!'s Sidnei Veloso got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 52 played minutes, Templários MZC's Romário Garcia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Igor Pires came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Templários MZC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Matheus Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Psiu!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Matheus Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Templários MZC made a substitution. Marquinhos Vianna replaced Lauro Leme. In the 58th match minute, Psiu! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus Paiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Romário Garcia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Pires skillfully saved the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Templários MZC's Giovanni Custódio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 68 minutes into the match, Templários MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Paiva came free, but Ian Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Psiu! booed when Templários MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Fellipe Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Psiu!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Templários MZC the free kick. After 72 played minutes Psiu! got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe Garcia. Igor Pires came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Templários MZC's Romário Nóbrega. But to his dismay, Romário Nóbrega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Paiva in the 79th minute of play forced Templários MZC's goalkeeper Ian Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romário Nóbrega went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 93 played minutes Psiu! got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Viana. In the 94th minute of the match Romário Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Pires showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Templários MZC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
