Thanks to some nice moves Georg Klinkisch could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Albino Maldonado however easily saved by the left post. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Albino Maldonado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Club Dep. Union Madereros from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Nemesio Sazon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Union Madereros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albino Maldonado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eugen Krumbachner. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nemesio Sazon made the kick off in the second half.
