Remo Steingher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Griemink, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jake Zarrella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chancy Olympique's supporters rose to their feet, but Jake Zarrella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roel Peeters breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Chancy Olympique's Gabor Helfenstein got a free kick in the 36th minute. Kurt Griemink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 minutes, Jim Damstra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASV Muziekwijk and the Chancy Olympique players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes ASV Muziekwijk got a freekick which was hit by Jim Damstra. After 44 played minutes Chancy Olympique got a freekick which was hit by Zelimir Marty. After 45 minutes of play, ASV Muziekwijk's Jim Damstra made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remo Steingher was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half ASV Muziekwijk were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Peter van Zaanen to strike the kick off in the second half. Remo Steingher made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Jim Damstra sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Karim Rusch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roel Peeters was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Jan-Peter van Zaanen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Remo Steingher came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Peter van Zaanen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 58th minute. Jonas Courtemanche kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Kurt Griemink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Steingher having to interfere. Karim Rusch's late challenge caught a ASV Muziekwijk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karim Rusch helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chancy Olympique getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Karim Rusch hit a great ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Jan-Peter van Zaanen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chancy Olympique's Remo Steingher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Courtemanche kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Kurt Griemink blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remo Steingher having to make a save. Zelimir Marty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roel Peeters having to interfere. The supporters of Chancy Olympique booed when ASV Muziekwijk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Damstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabor Helfenstein kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Jan-Peter van Zaanen came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the ASV Muziekwijk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Peter van Zaanen couldn't finish the play. When Jan-Peter van Zaanen fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASV Muziekwijk's protests and gave Jan-Peter van Zaanen a yellow card for diving instead. Jan-Peter van Zaanen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Kurt Griemink kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The ASV Muziekwijk players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
