But to his dismay, Vatan Yalaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Vatan Yalaz made a precise shot to the right of Hakan Ilıca. Karaelmas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, 61 PIMMS FC's Mustafa Cumhur Taşkınay got a free kick in the 17th minute. 61 PIMMS FC's Ahmet Vefik Onursal was substituted for Taci Ongar. Yağızhan Haksever kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vatan Yalaz in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hakan Ilıca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vatan Yalaz in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hakan Ilıca saved Karaelmas from getting behind. When Köksal Heybetli fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karaelmas's protests and gave Köksal Heybetli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Melih Cevdet Latif left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 61 PIMMS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Yalaz in the 34th minute of play forced Karaelmas's goalkeeper Hakan Ilıca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
