Jordy Vuillaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bruno Thoraval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Remir having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Ignacio Jurdan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mickaël Gamet. Ignacio Jurdan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Modesto Remir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Philippe Bras in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Aurelio Iyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciclista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaponnay FC the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Ciclista FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Remir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Philippe Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Ciclista FC's Venancio Bladi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mickaël Gamet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mickaël Gamet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Bladi in the 32nd minute of the match. Flavian Cozic charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavian Cozic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ciclista FC booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavian Cozic didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Nayely got free with Mickaël Gamet in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Chaponnay FC got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Rouge. 46 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Ariando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciclista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaponnay FC the free kick. Gaudencio Ariando kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Venancio Bladi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavian Cozic got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Flavian Cozic kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ignacio Jurdan took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mickaël Gamet. Mickaël Gamet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Mickaël Gamet came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Ciclista FC's Venancio Bladi. But to his dismay, Venancio Bladi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Venancio Bladi's late challenge caught a Chaponnay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Bladi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Venancio Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the game, Jimmy Willems threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ciclista FC's Delmar Onofre quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mickaël Gamet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Nayely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Chaponnay FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Hugues Delas hit a great ball. Chaponnay FC's Mickaël Gamet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Nayely in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chaponnay FC's Thierry Rouge got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Nayely in the 82nd minute of play forced Chaponnay FC's goalkeeper Mickaël Gamet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chaponnay FC's Mickaël Gamet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Onofre in the 83rd minute of play. Mickaël Gamet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Bladi in the 86th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Denize in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ciclista FC's Ignacio Jurdan. Hugues Delas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Modesto Remir. Ciclista FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chaponnay FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ciclista FC.
