In the 9th match minute, Black StarZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Endura to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes of play, Hisingen IK's Henry Skark made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Mederi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Black StarZ's Haroldo Pueblo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Black StarZ defense, Adam Örtlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Mederi. The Black StarZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Mederi should have stopped the shot. Salvador Gonzalez hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Erubiel Gaitan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Blixt having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Lennart Jansson put in a rough tackle. In the 31st minute, Lennart Jansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Haroldo Pueblo in the 32nd minute really tested Svante Blixt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Black StarZ booed when Hisingen IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Ekrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Mederi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Fågel in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Adam Örtlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Mederi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 42 played minutes Black StarZ got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Artal. 47 minutes into the game, Henry Skark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hisingen IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black StarZ the free kick. The Black StarZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hisingen IK were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Örtlund made a kick off. Adam Örtlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Mederi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Örtlund ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th minute, Erubiel Gaitan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black StarZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. After 64 minutes Hisingen IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haroldo Pueblo who took care of the corner kick. Svante Blixt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Häger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Mederi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute Adolfo Piarres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Blixt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
