Haroldo Raymon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandrinho de Amorim in the 25th minute. After 25 played minutes Sportivo Constitución got a freekick which was hit by Siro Argenis. Haroldo Raymon made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Paulo Pitta sent off a good shot on target. José Vítor Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Haroldo Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Ribeiro in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Varela in the 40th minute of play forced Sportivo Constitución's goalkeeper Haroldo Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silas Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Siro Argenis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Igon in the 52nd minute of play forced Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Wellington de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joaquin Florian fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Constitución's protests and gave Joaquin Florian a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Joaquin Florian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandrinho de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emerson Ribeiro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Sportivo Constitución made a substitution. Herminio Abad replaced Benigno Chano. Emerson Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ were furious when Tiaguinho Palmeira was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guadalupe FC - CIMZ! The goalkeeper, Wellington de Carvalho, was totally fooled by Sportivo Constitución's Eloy Igon, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 78th minute, Sandrinho de Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guadalupe FC - CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Silas Varela's late challenge caught a Sportivo Constitución's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silas Varela helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sportivo Constitución booed when Guadalupe FC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Constitución's Haroldo Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Ribeiro in the 87th minute of play. Haroldo Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho de Amorim in the 89th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Sandrinho de Amorim made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sportivo Constitución's Rosendo Napier shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wellington de Carvalho but with some difficulty. Sportivo Constitución's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Guadalupe FC - CIMZ had won, even though Sportivo Constitución had held more of the ball.
