The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Real Juniors getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gilberto Talia hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dagoberto Berrueta during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Juniors's Dagoberto Berrueta got a free kick in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Roman Domala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husaria F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Domala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alisson Becker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 played minutes Husaria F.C got a freekick which was hit by Roman Domala. Patricio Villacorta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jurand Grabski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Husaria F.C's Fryderyk Lizewski got a free kick in the 15th minute. Patricio Villacorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jurand Grabski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Husaria F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Chlapowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Real Juniors's Patricio Villacorta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ramon Bonilla scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jurand Grabski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Domala, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Herbert Mockiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Husaria F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Juniors the free kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Gallegos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herbert Mockiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Villacorta in the 53rd minute of play forced Husaria F.C's goalkeeper Jurand Grabski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Juniors's Dagoberto Berrueta got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Dagoberto Berrueta off the ground. In the 86th minute Roman Domala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Becker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Husaria F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
