In the 8th minute of the match, Endira Freire got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cirilo Tebaldo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Endira Freire sped through Pink Floyd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cirilo Tebaldo. 17 minutes into the match, Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Cirilo Tebaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Endira Freire. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Fabian Bihar got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Endira Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cirilo Tebaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Endira Freire in the 22nd minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Endira Freire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pink Floyd's Cirilo Tebaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nelson Gutiérrez hit a great ball. Endira Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Tebaldo having to interfere. The supporters of PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON booed when Pink Floyd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Tebaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Innocenzio to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the game, Leoiar Moncada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pink Floyd the free kick. Leoiar Moncada hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Leo Tebaldo's shot from long distance in the 85th minute was not bad at all, but PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Arturo Gordo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Darien Gaitan took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cirilo Tebaldo. Cirilo Tebaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. When Endura Isoba came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Endura Isoba couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Pink Floyd defense, Darien Gaitan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cirilo Tebaldo. The Pink Floyd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cirilo Tebaldo should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON fully deserved thier win.
