After recieving a nice pass, Faker FC's Zbyszko Czapski tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee gave Faker FC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zbyszko Czapski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cacciola's Eraldo Corvo. 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Cacciola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Bucciarelli to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Francesco Scivittaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patryk Kluska, 1-1. After 24 played minutes Faker FC got a freekick which was hit by Zygmunt Bondel. Cacciola were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Faker FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Achille Cusumano took the corner. Aldo Bucciarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faker FC's Patryk Kluska proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Faker FC from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute of the match Cacciola got a corner. Faker FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Achille Cusumano ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Cacciola's corner Achille Cusumano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patryk Kluska quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Faker FC's Zbyszko Czapski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Cacciola's Aldo Bucciarelli got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faker FC's Patryk Kluska proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Faker FC from getting a goal against them. Aldo Bucciarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 minutes, Feliks Poteralski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faker FC and the Cacciola players grew even worse after the yellow card. Feliks Poteralski hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Anfilogino Scrima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Alvaro Contestabile notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Faker FC's Patryk Kluska. Patryk Kluska was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zygmunt Bondel made a kick off. When Dave Zangari fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cacciola's protests and gave Dave Zangari a yellow card for diving instead. 56 minutes into the game, one of Cacciola:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zbyszko Czapski placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The supporters of Faker FC booed when Cacciola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Contestabile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbyszko Czapski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eraldo Corvo. Cacciola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Zygmunt Bondel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Bucciarelli in the 76th minute of play forced Faker FC's goalkeeper Patryk Kluska to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes, Zbyszko Czapski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faker FC and the Cacciola players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zbyszko Czapski hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Aldo Bucciarelli kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Remigiusz Wiater fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eraldo Corvo, passed just outside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zygmunt Bondel in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eraldo Corvo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
