Guido Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Casimiro Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Ebere in the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Nicolas Anaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monky FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club El Progreso the free kick. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when Monky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ignacio Ebere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Adolfo Sengrat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Sengrat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Vergaray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Casimiro Vermudo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artemio Hegoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Juan Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Sengrat, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute, Florencio Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Monky FC's Bartolo Nafarroa tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Juan Vergaray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Sengrat went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignacio Ebere to make the kick off. The supporters of Monky FC booed when Club El Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimiro Vermudo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Ebere went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Casimiro Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Nunez Gergori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ignacio Ebere who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monky FC's Casimiro Vermudo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolas Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Monky FC's Bartolo Nafarroa got a free kick in the 79th minute. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when Monky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Sengrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monky FC's Casimiro Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Hegoi in the 83rd minute of play. If Artemio Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pascual Gomesano fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club El Progreso's protests and gave Pascual Gomesano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club El Progreso getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Pascual Gomesano hit a great ball. A hard shot 89 in the game by Maximino Enekoitz from a close distance when the talented Juan Vergaray managed to make a qualified save. Club El Progreso's players were relieved. Juan Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Sengrat in the 90th minute of the match.
