Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fotis Papadias started the match with the kick off. Nikos Leontoulis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Apolo Ramos went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute of the match Kolopetinitsa got a corner. Club El Progreso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fotis Papadias ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Kolopetinitsa's Fotis Papadias to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Vergaray despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Miltiadis Alexopoulos struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Juan Vergaray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kolopetinitsa. After a defensive mix-up in Club El Progreso's zone, Spyros Daskalakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Vergaray came out of the goal and Spyros Daskalakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miltiadis Alexopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Club El Progreso getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Humberto Guerau hit a great ball. When Kolopetinitsa's Spyros Daskalakis in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club El Progreso's goalie prevented a goal. After 23 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Gomesano. After some careless play in the Kolopetinitsa defense, Ignacio Ebere kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikos Leontoulis. The Kolopetinitsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikos Leontoulis should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Humberto Guerau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikos Leontoulis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to Club El Progreso getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cayetano Brion hit a great ball. Tilemachos Karagiotas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Juan Vergaray made a huge save. Pascual Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Kolopetinitsa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club El Progreso were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Ebere made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Pascual Gomesano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nikos Leontoulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tilemachos Karagiotas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when Kolopetinitsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akis Kiakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Leontoulis made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ignacio Ebere sent off a good shot on target. Theofanis Kortes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the match Teobaldo Godoy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikos Leontoulis skillfully saved the ball. When Spyros Daskalakis came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Kolopetinitsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Spyros Daskalakis couldn't finish the play. Pascual Gomesano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nikos Leontoulis came out and tried to block the shot, but Pascual Gomesano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 77th minute. In the 80th match minute, Kolopetinitsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akis Kiakis to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Pascual Gomesano led 82 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Kolopetinitsa's Nikos Leontoulis became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-7. 94 minutes into the game, Club El Progreso's Pascual Gomesano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikos Leontoulis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. When the match was over Club El Progreso could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kolopetinitsa throughout the match.
