If Garip Akçakan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birsel Altınpınar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Harry Nordlander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hafiz Urhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Wrexham A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Vinström to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes of play, Wrexham A.F.C.'s Edvin Rolandsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Hafiz Urhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Harry Nordlander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Sezer Oskay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Garip Akçakan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sezer Oskay was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Wrexham A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sezer Oskay came free, but Per-Oskar Wiberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Christoffersson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Ahmet Hafiz Urhan 55 minutes into the match. If Garip Akçakan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Sezer Oskay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B⚽st⚽n Celtics-Palestine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sezer Oskay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birsel Altınpınar hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Garip Akçakan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wrexham A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Per-Oskar Wiberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Edvin Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hafiz Urhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Hafiz Urhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Rolandsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Wrexham A.F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wrexham A.F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
